I tried Magic Kitchen for my dad because he really does need easy senior meals, and I figured this would make things less stressful. The food was fine, not amazing but not terrible either, so that wasn’t really my main complaint. The bigger issue was the website and ordering process. He kept getting mixed up with the menus and all the little details, and before anyone says it’s user error, that’s kind of the point if the service is supposed to be senior-friendly.

The delivery showed up fine, so I’ll give them that, but even the packaging wasn’t as clear as I think it should be for someone like my dad. I don’t think I’m being overly picky here. If a company is marketing to older people, it should be easier for them to understand without needing someone younger to step in. It might work okay if a family member handles the ordering and sorting, but on his own, my dad would’ve struggled

The checkout process was frustrating. The payment kept lagging, and I was just sitting there waiting for it to go through. I almost gave up and closed the page.

I was ready to place an order with Magic Kitchen, but the shipping cost kind of stopped me in my tracks. It added so much to the total that it felt like they were making the deal look better until checkout. The food might be good, but with shipping that high, I ended up just leaving my cart.

I gave magickitchen a try for my medical diet, it turned into way more of a saga than I expected. I thought it would make things easier, but picking meals felt confusing, and I still ended up having to run things by my doctor just to feel safe. For me, it added stress instead of taking it away. I won’t be ordering again

The meal instructions weren’t very clear, so I had to sorta guess on the timing and a few of the steps. It made putting the order together more frustrating than it needed to be.

I wasn’t too impressed with the menu. From my point of view, a lot of the dishes felt similar, and I had a hard time finding something that actually sounded good to me. I’m a bit picky, so maybe others wouldn’t mind, but for someone like me who likes more variety, it got old quickly.

I tried a few meals from MagicKitchen, and while the flavor was okay, the texture really threw me off. The veggies got mushy after heating, and the chicken came out kind of rubbery, so it made the meals less enjoyable.
I followed the instructions, so I’m not sure if it was just the meals I picked or how they held up frozen. The soups were also thinner and more watery than I expected, so even though everything was edible, the consistency made it hard for me to really like them.

I’m not sure if it was just an off day, but the seasoning felt really unbalanced. Everything tasted way too salty, and somehow still kind of bland. I kept wondering if it was supposed to taste that way, but it just didn’t really work for me...

I don’t remember every little detail at this point, but I do remember waiting days for a reply and getting nothing. That part really stuck with me. Frustrating, and not really okay for customer support.

I asked about gluten-free options and got kind of conflicting answers, which was frustrating. I tried to be clear about what I couldn’t eat, but my order still came with things I had to avoid. The staff was polite enough, but it was a disappointing experience

I ordered the meals thinking theyd get here within a few days, but the delivery ended up taking way longer than I expected. The tracking barely changed, so I felt like I was just waiting around with no real updates. The food did finally show up, but the slow shipping kind of put me off ordering again.

One of my meals showed up damaged, so clearly something went wrong on their end during packing or delivery. I reached out to support and, to be fair, they got back to me quickly. They offered either a refund or a replacement, and I went with the replacement, which showed up the next week. Annoying that it happened in the first place, but they handled it fairly.

I was disappointed with my Magic Kitchen order!!! The box showed up all beat up, and a few of the meals had shifted around inside. There were wet spots too, which made the whole thing feel kinda gross!!! It just didn’t seem like it was packed with much care at all. For what it costs, I really expected better packaging. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again!!!

Not saying it’s a scam, but the food really didn’t live up to what I was expecting. The meals were kind of bland, and everything tasted weirdly dry. I wanted to like it, but it just wasn’t great.

I really wanted to like this, but I regret ordering because the portion was just way too small. I finished the meal and was still hungry, which was disappointing

I gave Magic Kitchen a try for a few dinners, i was impressed. The ingredients tasted fresh, especially the veggies, they weren’t mushy or sad like some delivered meals can be. The meat was better than I expected too. A few dishes weren’t totally my thing, but overall the meals were easy, clean-tasting, and convenient. I’m giving it 4 stars because a couple could’ve used a little more seasoning, but I’d definitely order again.

I ordered this as a gift, thinking it would arrive on time like it was supposed to. Unfortunately, it showed up way too late, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of ordering a gift in the first place. But hey, I guess punctual delivery is too much to ask

I tried placing an order on magickitchen.com it was more frustrating than I expected. The site felt slow, and I kept having to click around just to find basic info that should’ve been easy to get to. It kind of felt like standing in a long queue where the line barely moves.

Checkout wasn’t much better. At one point I wasn’t even sure if my order was actually going through, which made the whole thing even more annoying. I ended up giving up because it just didn’t feel smooth or simple at all.
